Have you ever dreamed of expressing thoughts or opinions that are important to you in the form of a rap or a poem? Now is your chance, the word is free and every voice can be heard!

The workshop will introduce you to the techniques and techniques of writing rap lyrics or poems in a safe space, with respect for all. No previous writing experience is necessary, but the workshop is also suitable for those who are already writing and want to explore both rap and poetic expression. The texts from the workshop will be performed spontaneously the following day, alongside the rest of the programme.

The workshop will be led by Hanna Yli-Tepsa aka MC Rauhatäti, who has been working as a rap/lyrics instructor for almost 15 years. Yli-Tepsa is an experienced workshop leader who has held workshops in schools, prisons and child protection units. She is currently working as a lyrics instructor in the "Sanoita parempi maailma" project for sustainable development (Children and Youth Foundation, UM) and in the Sustainable Future Youth Home project (Children and Youth Foundation, STEA), and she also runs the Biolapset youth rap group.

Suitable for both first-time and more experienced writers. No age limit.
